Day Fishing Trips
A) Low water Bridge to #8-8 miles, takes 3-4 hours of canoeing.
B) #8 to #11-shorter trip-3 miles-takes 1-2 hours. Great fishing in riffles.

One Day Beginner Canoeing/Kayaking Trips
A) Low water Bridge to #8--a great beginner canoeing/kayaking stretch with little riffles (no rapids), takes 3-4 hours.
B) #8 (Bealer's Ferry) to #11(Foster's)--a shorter beginner trip-3 miles that takes 1-1.5 hours. A few riffles. Quiet stretch.
One Day Rapids Canoeing Trips
A) #8--#19 is 11 miles of beginner whitewater with 2 small ledge rapids and Compton's rapid. Takes 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 hours. Arrive no later than 11 AM.
B) #11--#19 lessens trip A by 1 hour. Best trip for lower water levels. Arrive no later than 12:30 PM.
Shortest Canoeing/Kayaking Trip-The Sampler
#8--#11 is 3.5 miles of beginner canoeing with a few riffles and ledges, takes 3/4 to 1.5 hours. Only departs between 12 Noon and 3 PM.
Two Day Canoeing Trips
A) Low water Bridge to #19--a great trip that starts out as beginner canoeing the first day, with camping in G.W. National Forest on the river bank close to #8. You can park your car at #8 with your camping gear (keeps it dry!). Push off the next morning and continue thru Compton's to #19. Trip takes 8-10 hours of paddling.
B)#8 to# 28-Bentonville. Lower part of river thru Compton's and then flatter water for last part of trip. Pickup time only 3 PM, longer shuttle ride back.

Three Day Canoeing Trip or Longer
From Port Republic to Ft. Royal-7 days.... other trips may be customized for you and your canoeing needs.
Tubing Float Trips
The tubing and rafting course is our selection based on river water levels...
A) # 8 Bealer's to #11 Foster's--3 miles, takes around 3 to 4 hours depending on water levels, nice riffles, great scenery.
B) #16 to #19--section used at lower water levels-deeper, slower water water. Takes 4-5 hours, good swimming hole, beach.
Tubing trips depart only at 10:30 AM and Noon. Arrive 1/2 hour early.

Rafting is a little faster than tubing but 1/3 slower than canoeing. Depends on water levels and length of time on river to determine the trip.
A) #13 to #19--6 miles, takes about 4 -5 hours
B) #13 to # 19--3 miles, takes about 2 1/2 hours.
Rafting trips need to depart before 12 Noon for longer trips; and before 1 PM for shorter trips.
